Bravo’s Top Chef Fan Favorite Nina Compton + Scarpetta Menu
Scarpetta chef de cuisine and Top Chef Season 11 finalist Nina Compton is offering Miami diners the chance dine like the show’s judges on the recently completed season. Through the end of March, guests can choose from a six course tasting menu, featuring some of Tom and Padma’s favorite dishes at Scarpetta at only $125 per guest (two order minimum).
Inspired from the various challenges throughout the season, Compton will include dishes from episodes for you to judge. Staying true to her Caribbean roots, Compton begins the evening with Marinated Wahoo with tonnato sauce & salsa verde (Episode 12) which wowed the judges during an elimination challenge. Next up, Spiced Roasted Lamb Belly with tomato mostarda & Brussels sprouts (Episode 7) a quickfire challenge that won raves. Compton’s season finale presentation (Episode 17) of Orecchiette with moist roasted baby goat and concentrated tomatoes comes to the table as the third course.
Followed by Episode 15′s elimination challenge –Trout paired with crosnes and a cauliflower emulsion.
Guests then will sample Episode 10 quickfire challenge “Like Mama Made” 28 Day Dry Aged Rib Eye of Beef with charred leeks & foie gras.
For dessert, diners will have the chance to weigh in on the Chocolate Zeppole with a Nutella center, passionfruit anglaise & toasted coconut that Compton prepared for the show’s finale.
