We love dressing up to dine at our favorite restaurants, which is why we write about Fashion AND Food! When the world’s collide, (the opening of Roberto Cavalli’s new restaurant and lounge on Miami Beach), we have an even bigger reason to rejoice. That’s why we’re over-the-moon excited about the new opening of Cavalli Miami Restaurant & Lounge that offers a fashion friendly foodie destination for locals and travelers alike. The lavish new hotspot that opened in South Beach will cater to Cavalli’s design aesthetics by mimicking his Tuscan Villa.
Never-before-seen photographs of Cavalli’s private moments and celebrity encounters line the walls, while décor featuring floral patterned tablecloths; Murano glasses imported from Venice; wallpaper and accessories from the Roberto Cavalli Home Collection complete the fashion mogul’s signature flair. Even the floors are signed with the fashion mogul’s name, made from the finest Italian marble found only in Italy’s Massa Carrare caves. The restaurant’s outdoor terrace, the largest of any Miami Beach eatery, transports guests directly to Italy where street-side cafes, sipping espresso, and of course, Cavalli fashion are part of every day. Upstairs, the sultry, sophisticated bar & ultra-lounge speak to Cavalli’s lifestyle of fashion, glamour and luxury; sleek steel fixtures; grandiose chandeliers; posh couches with silk cushions; chairs covered in signature zebra and jaguar prints; and glass pyramidal walls bring a welcome taste of haute couture to Miami Beach’s nightlife scene. Perfect for a night on the town or for hosting exclusive, fashionable soiree’s and incredible musical performances, the bar & lounge offers guests ‘fashion on the rocks’ featuring the designer’s self-titled vodka and an array of sexy libations.
At Cavalli Miami, Executive Chef Stefano Mazzi will share his passion for Tuscan cooking with a menu of traditional Italian cuisine with a hint of innovative ‘new-style’ dishes. Menu highlights include an array of delectable antipasti such as the Mediterranean octopus carpaccio with Pantelleria capers and Tuscan oil ($17); new style rolled yellow fin tuna with ginger and micro bio greens ($22); endive and shaved fennel salad with Manchego cheese, blood oranges, toasted pistachios and champagne vinaigrette ($17) Tuscan Chianina beef tartare.. plus more! To complement the opulent cuisine, diners can enjoy Tenuta Degli Dei, a red wine pro ducted at Cavalli’s Family winery in Tuscany.
