There’s really no words for the food at Armani/Ristorante. The cuisine comes out as if it’s walking on a runway, modeling with bright colors, perfect presentation and a confident stride. Dish by dish.. the plates were definitely showing off their signature looks. Initially, we were teased with our assortment of amuse-bouches, which we were happy to have our taste buds tantalized, (and they were oh so pretty) starting with beet tartare with a depth of flavor that was quite surprising and a fennel panna cotta, yes we said fennel panna cotta! Although we thought to watch our waistlines, we figure, it’s Armani, they’ll be thinking of our waistlines for us! With that, we dived in (manicure first) into the impressive bread basket filled with all kinds of goodies from Schiacciata with Rosemary (had about three of these), salted rolls, whole wheat bread, (told you they thought of our waistlines) with walnuts and raisins, and more. Positioned on the 3rd floor of the flagship store on 5th Ave, we were happy to take a break from shopping–mainly to rest our feet from wearing our stilettos to roam the streets of Manhattan– to dine at the über chic and incredibly fashionable restaurant.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, we’ll let our stunning dishes walk the runway and let you take mental snapshots for your next visit to Armani.
