The Soho House Family just got a lot bigger and sexier with the launch of Soho House Chicago! Marking the fifth location in North America with other locations in New York, Miami Beach, West Hollywood and Toronto, the newest edition will have special touches unique to the Chicago location. With rooms available just in time for Labor Day on September 1st, guests can plan to stay at the stunning space that includes six floors– with two floors dedicated to the new spacious rooms with high ceilings and special touches, such as China tea sets that were designed exclusively for Soho House Group and crystal decanter and rocks glasses for whiskey aficionados. You had us at ‘rocks glasses.’ Swanky!
Those who decide to stay at the members-only destination can relish in the VIP perks, such as–
The energetic lobby-level Allis Bar, aptly named after the building’s first owners
Two signature, public-facing restaurants, Pizza East and Chicken Shop
Cowshed, Soho House Group’s response to a luxurious, sociable spa experience
A 12,000 square foot Gym with workout studios, boxing ring and an old-school launderette
A 40-seat Screening Room
The Club Floor with a drawing room, pantry bar, club bar, and house kitchen and grill
A glass-enclosed Rooftop Bar & Kitchen, as well as an 80-foot swimming pool and outdoor deck, showcasing stunning views of Chicago’s famed architecture.
Unique to the Chicago location, the new hotspot includes an area that’s open to the public! The new area called The Allis will be located on the ground/lobby floor and will have space for guests to work on their laptops during the day or grab a light bite. At night, the place will be a hotspot for locals or visitors to go and enjoy cocktails, small plates or pre-drinker libations. An amazing way for non-members to experience Soho House! Access granted.
Since we mentioned food, we’ll have to fill you in the restaurants inside, including Pizza East Chicago and Chicken Shop Chicago (two popular food editions with rotisserie and pizza!) in a separate post. Photos and details to come. Stay hungry.
