.. whew, that’s a lot of spice! But, we like a little flavor in Miami if you know what I mean. Since the ultimate ‘restaurant week’ is here with Miami Spice specials, we decided to seek out a couple of our favorite dishes from waterfront dining and celebrity go-to-spot Seaspice. We decided to go with the prix fixe dinner menu and choose from a list of items to do a ‘save’ or ‘splurge’ comparison. You have till September 9th to enjoy the set menu, so choose wisely.
The Surf Clam Chowder was hearty and a good filing app
**Our Pick: Hamachi Crudo with spicy (theme of the night) habanero chili, fried garlic and shiso.
**Our Pick: Wild Mushroom Risotto with summer corn and fava beans
Pan Seared Grouper had a very generous portion and paired nicely with winter squash and oven-dried tomatoes
*Our Second Pick: Braised Short Rib with tender meat with taro root puree
Tres Leches served in a cute jar with strawberries and blueberries and creamy soft texture we love.
**Our Pick: Guanaja Chocolate Cremoso served in a big bowl of thick chocolate mousse with caco nib grumb and toasted rice mousse.
