As temperatures drop to freezing climates throughout the US, Miami still remains a playground for jetsetters, celebrities, and the elite. Starting with nightlife, a majority of the club scenes remain the same with a couple new additions such as Story which used to be Prive back in the day. Since I go out so much in New York, I decided to take a break on the one night the club was literally like a Story with every single hip hop artist from Jay Z, Drake to Rick Ross ‘the Boss’ who all partied it up after Hova’s concert. I guess I took a mental break from my constant state of FOMO.
Jay and Bey were on a roll this weekend, stopping at all the restaurant hotspots in Miami including newest dining destination Seasalt and Pepper on the Miami River where the couple shared fresh seafood and pasta dishes by Chef Alfredo Alvarez, including pappardelle, lobster risotto and a seafood casserole to celebrate the end of their 22-day vegan diet. I commend anyone who can stick to an all vegan diet.. ain’t that cray!
If that celeb sighting wasn’t enough, Jay Z and B ran into singer Gloria Estefan and her husband, Emilio at the same restaurant. Only in Miami.
The couple was also spotted at Joey’s in Wynwood, which is basically like the East Village in Manhattan. Hipster, but full of good restaurants, bars and good vibes. If you’re in the area, it’s a great spot to visit with amazing pizza options and pasta right next to the international Wynwood Walls that are filled with murals and street art.
The thought of Ryan Phillippe always gave me cruel intentions, so I would have to B-line across the room if I saw him at Seasalt and Pepper (excuse me Paulina Slagter). Hanging out with Chef Alfredo Alvarez, the couple noshed on a couple dishes compliments of the house. He’s so pretty.
