Visiting Bowling, Kentucky is Not a Pie In The Sky Idea
Had a taste of Bowling Green, Kentucky in New York! During the bourbon-infused afternoon at Haven’s Kitchen , I had a chance to experience local flavors in the up-and-coming culinary city, featuring a pie-baking demonstration by the “Pie Queen of Bowling Green” herself, Brie Golliher and a three-course southern inspired lunch, all while sipping on one of Corsair Distillery’s signature gin cocktails.
As the aromas of baked pie crust filled the room, we were able to sample items from..Bourbon cocktails, because why not.
The producers mentioned that 2018 has been named the ‘Year of Kentucky Food’, sharing the plethora of flavors that make up the region’s rich gastronomic scene.
