What’s Cooking for Easter Brunch in NYC: Sirio Ristorante
We were on a quest to find the classiest Easter Brunch this Sunday and succeeded. Craving a sophisticated dining experience with white glove service, exceptional food and a place to wear traditional Easter hats, we discovered the special Easter menu at Sirio Ristorante. Knowing the restaurant is located in the historic hotel The Pierre and has catered to guests, such as Coco Chanel, Jackie O, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Mick Jagger and Andy Warhol, we knew we would be dining with high society. Excited to walk in their shoes (Chanel of course..on behalf of Coco), we decided to go all out with the whole experience by purchasing traditional Easter attire and bringing out our ‘Sunday best’ with a festive hat, plus those wearing an Easter hat will enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco, which is an added perk! Feel free to search our looks on twitter this Sunday on twitter at @fashfoodies or some of the other looks on their handle @siriony.
A couple dishes that caught our eye included the Venison Carpaccio with Chiodini mushrooms, baby artichoke chips, shaved Parmigiano reggiano and you can’t go wrong with black truffle vinaigrette. Also the Asparagus Risotto with a sunny side up duck egg .. and shall we continue.
Located steps away from Fifth and Madison Avenue shopping, (which is where we’ll end our day) we’re very exciting to dine in a historic establishment with Chef Massimo Bebber and experience some of his Tuscan cuisine. We might head over the Central Park for some sunbaking if the weather permits.
Another one of the dishes we plan to enjoy is the Herb Crusted lamb loin with sauteed spinach, charred baby artichokes, roasted potato and balsamic reduction. Hungry yet?
Happy hunting.. for Easter Eggs and an amazing brunch that is. Reso here: http://siriony.com/
